What is the main obstacle to expanding or improving your client base? We just continually attract the same sort of client. I know we can do better but I’m not sure how. The attorneys aren’t as technically proficient as they should be to attract A+ clients We’re too busy serving the clients we do have – not enough staff to handle the workflow and/or our office isn’t in the right location.

When it comes to training new hires, what issue do you often encounter? Training? We just throw new hires into the deep end! New hires struggle to pull off our brand effectively There's a lack of team collaboration and support New hires struggle with our technology

What is the most significant bottleneck in your client service delivery? It’s me. I have so many files on my desk I don’t know what to do. My team doesn’t know which files to prioritize. They’re all worried about the squeaky wheel client with the simple will rather than the client who’s waiting for a set of advanced estate planning documents that will net far more revenue. We tend to lose track of the progress on files. Things fall through the cracks.

In envisioning your bigger future, what must be true in the next three years to make that happen? I want more income but don’t want to work any harder I want a better team and/or a larger team supporting me I want to jettison the C, D, and F clients and attract only A+ clients I know that we can be more efficient in what we do and would like to get there
